We recently enjoyed a family vacation at Stoke Lodge, and it turned out to be a delightful last-minute escape over Easter. We were particularly pleased to snag room 9, a spacious sea-view double, perfect for accommodating our five-year-old son. The room offered a cozy atmosphere, and while the carpet was a tad dated, it didn't detract from the comfort of the beds. The facilities were family-friendly, and we made great use of the indoor pool, which was warm and quiet. The children's games room was a hit as well, keeping our little one entertained. We were a bit disappointed that the outdoor pool was under maintenance. The staff were welcoming, which added to the overall experience, although we did encounter a minor hiccup during breakfast. The food was quite good, but we wish there were more all-day dining options available. I'd recommend Stoke Lodge as a family-friendly retreat with lovely amenities, and I can definitely see us returning in the future!
